Sample collection schedule

To ensure effective and continuous monitoring of crops, spore samples are taken three times a week, usually on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. This frequency covers the entire week and ensures that the disease is detected at the first signs of contamination, without allowing time for the disease to spread between samples. Regular monitoring is crucial for rapid intervention and minimizing the risk of crop loss.

However, it is not possible to take samples in the rain. For example, if bad weather occurs on a Monday, samples will be taken on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday to maintain regular monitoring and ensure complete coverage without interruption.

This flexible and rigorous schedule allows for timely detection of diseases, while adapting sampling to weather conditions.
